Two missing women found dead in Harrisonburg; suspect arrested
The victims were discovered in an undeveloped lot off of Linda Lane.
HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - Two women found dead in Harrisonburg on Tuesday have been identified and they both were reported missing in separate cases. A suspect has been arrested.
Anthony Robinson of Washington, D.C., 35, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two felony counts of concealing, transporting or altering a dead body.
Police say the bodies of both women were discovered within a short distance of each other. According to investigators, the deaths occured at different times.
HPD said Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office has taken over the forensic investigation and has yet to determine the exact time or cause of death for either victim.
As of now, HPD is not seeking any additional suspects related to this incident.

According to a press release sent out by the Harrisonburg director of communications, the Harrisonburg Police Department is currently conducting an investigation after two deceased individuals were located in the area of Linda Lane and Country Club Road on Tuesday evening, Nov. 23.
HPD says a suspect is in custody related to the investigation and charges are currently pending.
The victims, both adult females, were discovered in an undeveloped lot off of Linda Lane. No further information on the two victims has been released.
